'' This Level 3 qualification provides the skills and training needed to begin a career in travel, tourism or hospitality.
It is equivalent to 2 x A2 levels.

The Certificate puts a focus on independent learning and will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge required for working in areas of the industry such as:

Airports & Airlines
Hotel Operations
Hospitality
Tourism Information
Retail Travel

Progression
If you complete the Certificate successfully you will benefit from having ¡®A¡¯ level equivalent qualifications which could then give you the opportunity to move on to Higher Education courses. Alternatively, you may want to use this advanced level qualification to move more quickly into the work place.

Over 2 years you will study 12 subjects which include:
Tourist Destinations
Overseas Holiday Representative
Customer Service
Handling Air Passengers
Cruise Industry
Visitor Attractions

In the first year you will also take the City & Guilds Worldwide Destinations Certificate at Level 2. This is a very valuable geography qualification which covers topics such as destinations, physical features, languages, climate, travel routes and time zones.

In year two you will take a Level 3 Certificate in Hospitality Customer Relations, giving you real insight into this growth industry. Topics include ’Personal Selling Skills’ and ’Caring for Bi-Lingual Customers’.

Across both years you will study Key Skills up to Level 3.
