'' To help Inspectors to survey dwellings in a consistent way and to complete the Home Condition Report (HCR) to a standard format.

Train potential Home Inspectors to competently undertake energy efficiency surveys as part of a wider HCR survey.
Enable Home Inspectors to provide basic energy efficiency advice, and hence produce the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
The objectives are to provide training for the ABBE Diploma in Home Inspection, including:

Inspecting property for condition
Making complete and comprehensive records of findings
Determining condition ratings
Producing complete and comprehensive HCRs
Collating information for the assessment of energy efficiency
Delegates will have the opportunity to prepare two of the three HCRs and one of the seven prior reports required for the ABBE Diploma in Home Inspection.
