Course Description:

'' To provide Home Inspectors and other professionals with an overview of the most commonly occurring defects encountered in housing construction, and highlight those issues frequently encountered during inspections. Specifically that Home Inspectors:

Are able to understand the cause of commonly occurring defects
Are able to identify and assess the severity of those commonly occurring defects
Are aware of the forensic investigations required to determine the causes of defects in houses
The course will include an understanding of the specialist requirements for inspecting houses, their structures and materials. It will be placed in the context of the Home Inspectors’ inspection and reporting requirements. Additional courses are available to explore particular defects in more detail.
