'' Exploring and applying skills required to assist in the efficient and effective operation of a Health and Fitness Suite.

Structure
This course is a stand alone SQA unit. Students will study three hours per week in a class as well as undertaking home based work. The course will take 60 hours of study. The course is continuously assessed.

Content
The course covers the following areas:
- Evaluate the Skills Required for the Operation of a Quality Service in a Health and Fitness Suite
- Identify Health and Safety Procedures to be deployed in Health and Fitness Suites
- Evaluate a Range of Therapeutic Services.

Preferred Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. However, it would be beneficial to have completed either the Fitness Testing and Assessment or Circuit and Resistance Training unit.
