'' The CCIE Prep Lab course is a specific course, developed for those advanced networking professionals seeking to obtain the CCIE Routing & Switching (R&S) certification. The course will provide students with the optimum equipment Lab Environment to prepare delegates for the CCIE Practical exam.
There is an optional third week when the delegates perform 2 realistic CCIE challenge lab exams that will closely match the actual Cisco CCIE Lab exam. Each mock lab exam, that takes a whole day, will be followed by discussion and, if necessary, additional tuition.
However, it should be stressed that a student who only books for the first 2 weeks will not miss out on any of the course content.
The course starts at 10:00 the first day and will appr. run for 8-10 hours a day to insure that the student gets all the information and practice he needs to pass the exam.
Course Outline Frame-Relay ISDN & DDR ATM Catalyst 3550 Switch configuration (Layer 2 &3) Routing protocols: RIP,EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, Redistribution & Control, & BGP Multicast Routing (PIM, IGMP, CGMP) IP Services (NAT, HSRP, DHCP, etc) Quality of Service (CBWFQ, CAR, WRED etc) Bridging and DLSW+ Voice (VoIP, VoFR etc) IOS Services (SNMP, Logging, etc)
Who Needs to Attend This course is recommended training for those seeking CCIE R&S certification.
Suggested Prerequisites
Students are expected to have followed the CCNP track of courses and to have attended the Global Knowledge Net Gun program, or to have the equivalent knowledge. A minimum of one year of working experience with Cisco devices is essential. It would be beneficial if the students had passed the CCIE-written exam 350-001. We advise to take the course about 1-2 months before the actual lab exam date.
Please note that this course is pure practical, there will be no theoretical modules, because we that the student knows the theory very well.
