The programme covers all of the major aspects of franchising from a practical and academic point of view. While the programme originates from the UK, it is envisaged that students from many different countries will study the module. It is therefore recognised that the environment in which students live will vary significantly and that the cultural, legal and economic environments in which franchising operates will differ from one country to another.

While much of the programme content is internationally transferable, there are areas where students will wish to carry out investigations into how franchising works in their own country. You can do this by investigating franchise websites and online journals from the programme website. In addition, the main assessment involves the evaluation of a franchise product and system in the country in which you live.
