'' It is widely recognised that most managers in business use an integrated strategy to manage different types of risk. As part of this integrated strategy, we discuss the increasing importance of recognising and managing political and ethical risk for international businesses, and analyse and discuss case studies in which these risks are evident. Through these case studies, participants formulise strategies to minimise both the likelihood and the severity of risk events.

The objectives of the executive programme include: analysing and understanding the unique composition of a Multi-National Company (MNC); analysing the different approaches to investment for the MNC and the benefits of international investing; defining political risk and ethical risk and its implications for the operations of the MNC; evaluating key factors used in the identification, measurement and management of this risk; comparing the effectiveness of various strategies of political and ethical risk management.
