'' This course will cover why mobile telephones have great market penetration and are therefore seen as the ideal way of providing Internet access for those who cant afford to have PC access or need the mobility of a phone WAP make this possible. Delegates will understand what the key Mobile technologies are, how they relate to each other, what the future holds, what the Mobile market is doing, and appreciate the Mobile market in general.A quick tour of the Bluetooth environment will be given and the changes it may have on existing network infrastructures. An overview of GSM will be given. GPRS is a new service providing packet radio access for GSM and TDMA users and is seen as an important step towards 3G migrations. Finally 3G and UMTS migration will be examined and the affect it will have in the future.
