'' The SDH Traffic Network Planning course is a specialist¡¯s course, giving the participant the knowledge necessary for planning the traffic part of a SDH network. This knowledge is applied using a number of exercises.

Prerequisites
Participants must have attended or have previous knowledge equivalent to SDH Signals & Standards Advanced. Strongly recommended are also the ¡°Synchronisation of SDH networks¡± and ¡°DCN¡± courses. Synchronisation and DCN knowledge is often an advantage, as the traffic planner may have to accommodate those features in the traffic network design. If this is the case, s/he will need to be able to freely communicate with the teams doing those parts of the network plan.
