'' Over recent years risk management has been a growing concept in business and government organisations. It is undoubtedly linked with the principles of corporate governance which are also developing at a pace.

Internal auditors must have an interface with risk management and work out the exact connection that is right for them and their organisations. One possibility is the pursuit of risk based internal auditing (RBIA), which is now being advocated in many circles.

This course aims to help internal auditors understand the essential features of risk management practices. It also deals with the process of risk based internal auditing. This will assist in deciding the audit role and contribution in relation to them.
