'' Procurement in many organisations fails to maximise its contribution for a number of reasons, one of which is the fact that the full value it brings to an organisation is not always understood, and therefore it is not sufficiently aligned to the requirements of the key stakeholders in the organisation. This workshop ensures that participants understand how to maximise the value that Procurement brings to their organisations.

Procurement has traditionally been seen as an operational or transactional activity. While the operational and transactional processes are clearly important, it is also crucial that the strategic role of Procurement is understood and allowed to flourish. The workshop provides a strategic framework for procurement including all of the templates, processes and tools necessary to develop procurement strategies.

There is considerable evidence that even when procurement strategies have been developed, the organisation does not reap all of the benefits that were envisaged.
