'' The programme begins by discussing the concept of security and examines the importance of security risk assessment. It explores the current state of the security industry, which has recently undergone major changes in regulation, and looks at the key players within each sector.

Aims
Security is often a major area of corporate expenditure and having appropriate and effective security solutions in place has seldom been more topical or important. This seminar aims to provide delegates with sufficient knowledge to be able to procure and manage security services appropriate to the risk and to derive maximum cost benefit to the organisation.

The event is run in a highly interactive fashion and is tailored to suit those areas relevant to the delegates¡¯ organisations. The programme begins by discussing the concept of security and examines the importance of security risk assessment. It explores the current state of the security industry, which has recently undergone major changes in regulation, and looks at the key players within each sector. The seminar lifts the lid on cost structures, margins and rates, enabling delegates to critique supplier pricing more effectively.

The programme looks at emerging security technologies as well as more traditional security solutions, including physical and manned security. Delegates will take away an understanding of the solutions, standards and regulations applicable to their particular organisation.

Procurement strategies, key contract terms and service level agreements will also be explored, enabling delegates to improve their supplier selection, performance and management techniques.
