'' This programme was designed for directors and those responsible for the strategic control of the organisation in question. The programme focused on Governance, The Board and Board Committees and Corporate Social Responsibility. It enabled participants to appreciate the potential weaknesses of organisations, based upon case studies which had led to corporate governance breakdown. It also enabled them to establish and maintain effective audit, nominating and compensation committees. In addition they learnt how to motivate and oversee executive management to improve financial performance and gain competitive advantage. Finally, the programme helped the participants to recognise and understand the structures, policies, and reporting process necessary for effective corporate governance and oversight.
