'' Why is it that some people handle life¡¯s pressures and daily hassles with ease while others become burdened by the slightest setback? What exactly is that inner strength that some people simply exude in their daily lives that drives them to achieve? Such people possess a powerful quality called resilience ¨C a strength that empowers you to bounce back from adversity to achieve success and lasting fulfilment.

This course is designed for people at all levels of any organisation - government or private sector - and those who want to build strengths to cope with work life pressures and challenging situations.

COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The objective of this course is to enable participants to explore the concept of resilience and the application of solutions focused coaching strategies to achieve balance, confidence and personal strength in their life.

COURSE CONTENT
The course will focus on the following topics:

What is resilience? How resilient are you?;
Resilient mindsets, negative scripts, and personal control;
Choosing the path to become stress hardy rather than stressed out;
Dealing effectively with mistakes;
Dealing well with success in building islands of competence; and
Qualities and guidelines for building resilience.
METHODS OF DELIVERY
Learning methods will include short talks, group discussions, case studies, self-assessment and practical exercises.
