'' Do you long to be at ease in social situations, to make friends and influence people? This course is designed for managers, supervisors and people seeking to master inter-personal relationships as a means for creating new networks across a broad cross section of interests to advance career objectives or achieve organisational goals.

COURSE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
This course will show participants how to enhance relationship management strategies and create new networks to expand their sphere of influence. Participants will discover 10 ways to tap into individual social genius to become a better communicator and influence others. The objective of this course is to explore the concepts of social intelligence and relationship management. It will provide participants with strategies for influencing others, forming connections and creating strategic alliances.

COURSE CONTENT
Key topics of this course will include:

The art of listening;
Making connections;
Charisma - how to shine in groups;
Networking - how to influence people; and
Social graces- or what to do when.
METHODS OF DELIVERY
Learning methods will include short talks, group discussions, case studies, self-assessment, mind-mapping techniques and practical exercises.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the course participants will be able to:

Understand multiple intelligences and the power of social intelligence;
Assess personality type to understand differences and use emotional intelligence framework for developmental challenges;
Understand that networking if a life skill, not something you do only when you want something for someone else; and
Tap into your social genius and polish social skills.
