Produce hard copy prints for a folio or prepare images for the web. Explore the subject in greater depth and discover new techniques and ideas. What is the course about?
This course is designed for anyone interested in using Photoshop for their own project work and leads to a City Lit certificate. Starting with basic skills and constructive practical exercises this course allows students to investiage their own creative potential.

What level is the course?
This course is intended for beginners, although students with some basic experience of Photoshop or those who wish to gain a certificate may also find it useful.
Students are encouraged to develop their design work at their own pace, building on their existing skills to develop their portfolios or experiment with ideas.

- Photomontage and Image manipulation
- Images and copyright
- Scanning, colourways and fonts
- Page layout, printing methods and paper
- File management and saving of digital designs
- Learn how to experiement with photographs or scanned artwork or use the computer as a painting and dreawing tool.
All students will work on projects of their choice, relating to their own work under guidance from the tutor.
