What will the course cover? (contents,themes,projects) The aim of this course is to introduce basic pottery techniques. You will learn to make pinch and coiled forms, slab built forms and simple thrown forms. You will be shown simple surface decoration techniques and apply them to the forms you make. Work will be glazed and fired. A slide talk will be given on contemporary ceramics.
