What is the course about? An opportunity to create a composition in watercolour paint, through studies made in and around the Keeley St building, in an intensive, 3-day timespan.

What level is the course? The course is intended for those with some previous experience of drawing or painting, not necessarily watercolour; however, enthusiastic beginners who are prepared to take risks are very welcome!

What will the course cover? (contents,themes,projects) With guidance and a structured timetable, you will use sketchbooks inside and outside to explore colours and shapes of buildings and streets close to City Lit. You will be encouraged to experiment with watercolour methods, while focusing on a specific theme/idea to develop your composition.
