'' If you are an advanced pianist - whether a performer or specialist teacher - this is an opportunity to continue to develop your skills., broaden your repertoire and increase your understanding of piano playing. (Post grade 8.)

What is the course about? To improve technique and command of tone colour and sonority. To enhance interpretative resourcefulness. To practise more effectively. To improve projection and the ability to communicate with an audience. To improve students own teaching skills. Students are expected to practice at least 1.5 hours a day.

What level is the course? You should be post Grade 8, preferably diploma standard, and should ideally have had previous performing experience.

What will the course cover? (contents,themes,projects) - Coverage of a wide range of piano literature with reference to individual commitments such as exams, concerts, teaching and lecturing of each student. - Discussion and comparison of different practice and teaching methods. - Analysis and study technique in depth
