'' AutoCAD is an essential tool in many industries, including mechanical and civil engineering and architecture. This course starts by teaching the basic skills needed to create and edit simple drawings and gradually introduces tools that are more advanced. The examples and practice exercises are adapted from a variety of industries where AutoCAD is used including mechanical designs, architectural floor plans, schematic diagrams, and civil site plans. 150 hours.
Note: there are many businesses using AutoCAD 2002, and who will continue to use it for some time, so we will continue to offer the AutoCAD 2002 course as long there is demand for it.
By completing this course the student will learn to:
Create accurate dimensioned drawings
Setup drawings to plot
Build a library of symbols that can be reused
Develop template files with standard settings
Coordinate reference drawings
Each student will receive AutoCAD 2007 with a one year student license.
