'' Study drawing as a preparation for painting, sculpture, and other visual arts as well as a creative visual medium of expression in its own right. Explore the creative uses of such drawing tools as drawing pencils, charcoal, conte-crayon, pen and ink, and brush and ink. The class will work toward developing perspective and 3-dimensionalisn. This class is for the beginning as well as the intermediate student. Last 3 weeks will be used for personal color drawing projects. Bring to the first class a sketchbook (at least 12" x 18") and a drawing pencil. Materials will be discussed at the first class meeting. ...''
