Course Description:

'' Sketching and journaling outdoors is a wonderful way to enhance your appreciation of Albuquerque’s wild and urban areas. Both beginners and more experienced artists are welcome. Through group instruction and sharing by participants we will be inspired by easy sketching techniques and styles in watercolor, pen & ink, and color pencil. During the summer we will take field trips to the cooler elevation’s in the mountains near Albuquerque. Some short hikes to picturesque sites will be included. Each week we will visit a different place and record our experiences with a variety of creative words and images. Carpooling is encouraged. Approximate cost of materials is $35. A supplies list will be available at registration. ...''
