'' Rediscover your body through yoga with your baby! yoga can be a wonderful bonding opportunity for mothers and babies. In this class we will focus on yoga poses that both help the body recover from childbirth, and specifically address the day to day needs of new mothers. We will learn how yoga can ease aching shoulders after hours of holding a baby, how to strengthen our core abdominal muscles which have been stressed from pregnancy, and how to minimize the fatigue so common in caring for a new baby. We will learn how to incorporate babies into our poses, and also how to facilitate positive infant development. We will also explore how breath awareness and meditation can enhance the magical first year of your baby’s life. This course is appropriate for babies from two weeks to one year old. ...''
