Course Description:

'' This beginning class is designed for the person with little or no horse experience. Students will learn how to catch and saddle their horse, ride at the walk and trot, and the basics of horse maintenance, health care, and the cost of both. We start with a basic understanding of the horse’s mind, jokingly called "Horse Psychology 101." We’ll go over different breeds and their characteristics, what the "perfect" horse would be, and how to find him. The main topic we learn in this class is safety around horses. This topic ties in with how the horse thinks and processes things going on around him. It all comes together for a relaxing and educational way to spend 2 hours a week. Classes are limited to 10 students. ...''
