'' Experience the excitement of black and white photography. 50% of the total print quality is affected in the darkroom. The more you know about what you can do in the darkroom, the more you can be in control of your images. Black and white printing is where science and art converge. Explore the multitude of black and white processes by working with a professional darkroom master. Learn the basic chemicals that are involved in the printing process. The theory of darkroom printing will be covered: the denser the negative the more light that is needed. By fine-tuning this process you can create works of art. Go beyond the basics and learn advanced printing techniques such as toning, burning and dodging. A $55 chemical and supply fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
