This course emphasizes the understanding of residential hydronic heating systems, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair through lecture and hands-on projects. Topics covered include boiler maintenance, service, sizing, size radiation, size circulator pumps, piping layout, zoning, using boilers as tankless heaters, indirect water heating, space heating, and snow melting applications.
