'' These programs are designed for students interested in adapting ideas to working models or generally
refining an engineer¡¯s concepts.

Through extensive laboratory experiences, the student acquires skills that are essential in industrial
processes, blueprint reading, layout and inspection, numerical control prototype testing, and developing and
testing automated, servomechanical, and other mechanical systems. Most students work part time in their
fields of endeavor while completing their degree requirements.

All of these programs strongly emphasize the safe and skillful use of tool-room machines. Core courses are
individualized to fit the student¡¯s personal goals.
