Course Description:

'' Ready to take your photography skills to the next level? If you want to make a living taking photographs this track is for you. Commercial, wedding, portrait photography and photojournalism are a few of the specializations you can choose. Each area requires core photographic skills, but it takes more than the ability to point and shoot to become a successful photographer. It takes hard work and dedication to learning both the technical and visual aspects of this field of visual communication.
You might ask, ¡°Where do I begin?¡± The answer is, at the beginning! Start with the first core classes. Take Basic Camera and Black & White Darkroom Techniques and get your feet wet. Following are two more core classes, additional skill building classes, and classes that will teach you the tools of the trade. By the time you finish this program, you will understand the depth of this field and be able to apply it to real work. You will also have a certificate that states that you have completed a series of classes in photography. In addition, you will have work samples from your classes to put into a portfolio that shows you have indeed gained experience and knowledge about this dynamic field.
