'' Would you like to make computer-based images and charts that you can pull into your layout programs like Adobe InDesign and QuarkExpress? Do you want to play with fonts and design logos? Would you like to take a scanned hand-drawn image and change it? If so, this tool is for you. Adobe Illustrator is a powerful tool that will allow you to create high quality images. You will become familiar with the basic tools and techniques. Each week¡¯s assignments will stress the importance of layers as well as the various tools required to make exciting graphics, whether they are logos or other images. All students in this course will receive digital studio access during open studio hours. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 20 hours.
