'' The release 11i course contains the fundamentals of all releases of the EDI Gateway and e-Commerce Gateway. The concepts and forms are basically the same through all the releases on the features that they have in common, such as trading partner set up and code conversion. The major new R11i features include forms to allow the user to define select editing of the data and to view transaction exceptions. This allows users on releases 10.7 and 11 to be familiar with these features before they are ready for the upgrade to 11i.
This course introduces the student to electronic commerce and the features of the Oracle e-Commerce Gateway. The student learns the setup steps for e-Commerce Gateway including defining Trading Partners, setting up code conversion, and modifying transaction interface files. The course also covers the processing of individual transactions (such as invoices and purchase orders)by business function. The student learns exception handling and troubleshooting features. Finally, students learn how to customize their outbound EDI transactions using extension tables. ...''
