Upon completing the program, the student receives the Associate in Occupational Studies degree with a major in Paralegal Studies. Accordingly, the graduate is prepared for immediate employment as a paralegal, or continuing education in a four-year college leading to a bachelor’s degree, and a legal background which can be very valuable for success in law school.
