'' The Electronics curriculum provides the technical depth, breadth, and general education for a career in electronics design, manufacturing, sales or service. Individual attention and extensive hands-on laboratory experience provide a balance of the practical and theoretical aspects of electronics.
This program is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202; phone 410-347-7700; accreditation@abet.org).
The A.A.S. ELT graduate can choose to go to work, or to transfer to the junior year of a Bachelor of Engineering Technology program. The graduate who has completed the advanced math/physics track can, with a few additional courses, enter a bachelor of Engineering program (see also Engineering Science-A.S. Degree). Students interested in electronics may also be interested in the MCC program in Instrumentation Technology.
