Course Description:

'' Our TOEFL Preparation Program is for advanced English students who are ready to pursuer a higher education. The TOEFL score is requested by admission of all American universities and colleges for foreign students. To succeed in an academic environment in which English is the language of instruction, students need to not only understand English, but also to communicate effectively.
The new TOEFL test is a breakthrough in testing that emphasizes integrated skills, and provides better information about test takers’ ability to communicate in an academic setting.

A placement test is required to determine if you are ready for this program.

We are happy to offer a TOEFL preparation class led by Professor Mario Souza. With more than 10 years in the field Mr. Souza is one of the most highly regarded ESL instructors in New York City. In 2005 he was honored as Employee of the Year by Zoni Language Center, and he is a member of the Dean’s List at Hunter College.

For the past six years he has taught exclusively TOEFL test preparation and his students have enjoyed a 90% pass rate after completing one of his courses. Mr. Souza holds a Masters Degree in TESOL from Hunter College, New York.
