'' Adobe Illustrator and photoshop are essential tools for expressing ideas visually in fashion design.

It can benefit fashion designers in the development of mood boards, presentations and page layout. This eight week course will introduce you to the software and allow you to practice your own ideas and explore its possibilities.

Begining course will include:

Drawing images using vectors or paths
Document set up and work area
Drawing and manipulation of vector objects
Working with anchor points and bezier curves
Controlling and transforming lines and shapes
Experimenting colour, patterns, styles and gradient fills
Compound paths, clipping masks and blends
Working with filters and bitmap images
Working between Illustrator and Photoshop
Use Action to Save Creation Procedure.
Advanced course will include:

Study Photoshop/Illustrator Advanced Tools Including: Pattern Make, Liquify, Compound Path, Clipping Mask etc.
Create personal Stitch Library and Swatch Library.
Design Stitch Embroidery, Floral Embroidery and Apply to Garment
Multiple Repeats Techniques and Colorways for Prints.
Floral Prints Combine with Inner Glow, Gradient etc. Advanced Skills.
Garment Wrap/Displacement Techniques.
Knits, Denim and Animal Print Simulations.
