'' This three day hands-on lab based course provides a single point of interaction with dynamic information, applications, processes, and people to help build Business-to-Employee (B2E), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) portals. Application developers build skills and knowledge to code robust portlet applications. This course offers experienced application developers the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to code robust JSR 168 based portlet applications using the portal tooling of IBM Rational Application Developer.

Note: The PW551 course offering makes use of WebSphere Portal, Version 5.1, and the JSR 168 API. If you are interested in Portal Version 5.1 and the IBM Portal API please see course PW581, “IBM WebSphere Portal Version 5.1 Application Development�which teaches both APIs.
