This course will teach students the basics of object-oriented development using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Students will be introduced to concepts such as abstraction, polymorphism, and encapsulation and will learn how these concepts are the foundation of object-oriented software development. The class will help students understand what a class and an object are and how they can be used to build software. The course will introduce the student to the UML and demonstrate how to use some of the basic elements of UML.
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to:
