'' This three-day introductory training consists of three modules:
HVAC overview
control strategies, and
basic trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance.
Students will learn the basic components of an air handling unit (AHU) system, airflow and pressure, water flow and pressure, fan systems, dampers, actuators, types of instrumentations, and basic control standards.
Students will learn the beginning levels of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems; providing a path for maintenance mechanics to better understand the basics of HVAC and the systems they work with and to also provide the foundation that is required to participate in more advanced HVAC training which follows the introductory level training.
