'' The Automotive Technology Certificate can be completed in 4 semesters. Graduates may move into such fields as automotive service writer, service manager, parts sales, parts management, fleet management or other automotive technology related fields.
All Automotive programs are NATEF certified. All faculty are ASE certified.

Upon graduation, you will be able to:
Understand the theory of automobile engine operation with emphasis on modern vehicle engines.
Demonstrate proper diagnosis and repair techniques for automobile engines with emphasis on modern vehicle engines.
Understand the theory of automatic transmissions and transaxles.
Demonstrate diagnosis and repair of automatic transmissions and transaxles.
Understand the theory of manual transmissions and transaxles.
Demonstrate diagnosis and repair of manual transmissions and transaxles.
Understand the theory of suspension and steering on modern vehicles applications.
Demonstrate diagnosis and repair of suspension and steering on modern vehicle applications.
Understand the theory of brake systems and their application on modern vehicles.
