'' In this course, we will set up a document and save a publication. Search for help topics, use shortcuts, and work with context-sensitive help. We will review parts of the letterhead, change layout view, create text, and use drawing tools. Select text and change fonts, use the control palette to format; change type styles, size, and case. Work with text blocks by selecting, moving, and customizing. We will move drawings; resize shapes, change fills, line formats and tint percentages. Examine graphical formats, and learn how to place and edit graphics. We will move, lock, and remove guides to help align our objects on our page. Align and group objects and save time by saving your publication as a template to use over and over again. We will also work with existing templates; envelopes and calendars. Next, we will create a two-column multi-page publication by inserting pages and page numbers, using master pages, and inserting footers. We will use text wrap, paragraph spacing and type kerning, and methods for aligning text. We will set and use tabs and create bulleted paragraphs. We will work with the styles palette to create styles. Check spelling by using the story editor and the custom dictionary. Learn advanced graphics features by creating a watermark and working with image control.
