'' The B.A. in Liberal Arts with Licensure in Elementary Education equips students to impact the next generation of learners. Throughout the program, students gain knowledge on educational theory and participate in experiential learning opportunities that put them in the classroom. This unique combination helps students develop competencies that enable them to become effective teachers in both public and private schools. Students graduate from the program with the skills, experience, and credentials necessary to teach kindergarten through sixth grade. (Colorado State teaching for elementary education licensure requires a passing score on the PLACE exam.)

Program Benefits

The program is designed for adult students who are busy with work and family commitments.
For students who have not finished a bachelor’s degree, program provides both a teaching license and a Bachelor of Arts degree.
The major program is taught in an accelerated format and can be completed in as little as 16 months by attending courses on week nights and weekends.
