'' This course is specifically designed for anyone working in IT wanting to gain knowledge in IT Service Management best practices. Students will learn the essentials of ITIL framework and will understand how an organization can benefit significantly by applying these principles to the work environment.
Skills Gained:
Students will understand the basis of how to use the ITIL framework as a guide by developing an understanding of how all of the departments and sections within the IT organization can work together to deliver IT services. This includes activities such as Change Management and Availability Management.
Target Audience:
All levels of personnel within an IT Service Delivery Organization. It also benefits internal account managers who interact between the business and IT. These people may hold positions such as: IT Managers, Support Team Leaders, Service Desk Supervisors, Change Managers, Service Level Managers, Operations Managers and Problem Managers.
Prerequisite:
There are no prerequisites for this course, however it is assumed that course participants are working or have worked in an IT Service environment or equivalent. This course is a prerequisite for the Managers Certificate in IT Service Management.
