Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced
Course Description:
'' The Executive MBA at the Barney School is designed to teach management concepts and skills to persons having management responsibilities. Its accelerated format allows executives to complete a graduate degree in as few as 20 months while remaining in their careers full time.
With a structure that simulates the world of business, the EMBA program brings together people from different industries to form a cohesive team. The EMBA Program was developed in recognition of the need for a condensed presentation that accommodates hectic work schedules. In approximately 20 months, you can complete the requirements for the EMBA degree in a weekend format.
The EMBA Program is designed to be highly interactive. It stresses individual participation, class discussion, participation in groups, and team projects. Faculty use a variety of teaching methods, including case analysis, computer and non-computer simulations, business problems, and projects that may be drawn from the participants own organizations. Leaders from the business community will supplement the regular classroom schedule by participating in classes or speaking at special events.
