Course Description:
'' NCC offers two options in the Accounting Program. There is a transfer program for those who plan to continue their studies in accounting, or in a related field, at a four-year institution, and there is a career program to prepare students for immediate employment.
Many students who graduate from NCCs transfer program go on to study to become certified public accountants and/or certified management accountants. Those choosing the career program are often employed as junior accountants or accounting clerks. In either case, they get the firm footing needed to understand the complexities of a business in transition.
Completion of the program leads to the Associate in Science Degree. This program also offers opportunities for cooperative education/work experience.
