'' This one-year program is designed to maximize employment opportunities in office services. A high concentration of practical skill courses will prepare students to seek entry-level positions such as records manager, office assistant, office clerk or data entry keyboarder.
Applicants who have had previous training in keyboarding may qualify for advanced placement as a result of assessment tests. Regardless of placement, 27 credits are required for the certificate.
Students deciding to continue for the Associate in Science degree in Business Technology/Office Administration will find all courses taken in the certificate program acceptable for the Associate degree at NCC. ...''
