'' What hardware and software architectures will define next-generation cellular phones? Can laser communications be made to serve urban local network connections? How can we create an efficient communications system that transmits real-time HDTV from space? At EPP, far-reaching questions such as these are part of everyday electrical and computer engineering instruction.
EPPs Electrical and Computer Engineering program is one of the largest advanced degree programs in the country. It covers theory as well as practice, technical as well as operational issues, and fundamental knowledge as well as state-of-the-art applications. Graduates are prepared to make their mark in the field, whether in research and development, product design, consulting, management, or business. Students in the M.S. program can select an area of concentration from seven possibilities, and elect to pursue a Telecommunications Option or Photonics Option. Highlights include:
