'' The LLM Employment Law and Practice course run at the Aberdeen Business School is one of only a few UK Masters courses dedicated to employment law. It offers a mixture of law and practice and is designed to be suitable for both employment lawyers, human resource professionals and anyone else involved in advising or working in the field of employment law, such as trade union officials and voluntary sector workers. The mixture of academic and practitioner involvement makes this course a highly valuable career-enhancement tool.

Employment Law and Practice provides an in-depth study of one of the fastest moving and growing branches of law in the UK. The course, although concentrating on UK law and practice, will be of value to professionals in other jurisdictions where UK law is often a major developmental influence.

The course has undergone a major revision process and the new and improved course structure began in September 2006.

Course Aims and Benefits

The course is available in either face-to-face mode with attendance in Aberdeen (part time) or on our interactive web-based purely distance option on the University’s award-winning virtual campus. The virtual campus version of the course allows the course to be taken from anywhere in the world, and the learning pace is flexible. This allows the course to cater for the busy professional in full time employment.
