'' The Public Service MBA is the School of Public Policys flagship programme in public management. The Programme is designed to equip its participants for the demanding agendas of contemporary public management. It does so by providing a rigorous and carefully structured management education and personal development programme to build competence and confidence for effective leadership in public and voluntary sector/NGO contexts. The MBA is delivered in two streams: the international stream and the public and voluntary sector stream.
The Public Service MBA consists of eight main blocks and a project/dissertation. Four of those blocks comprise two modules each, and the other four are single-module blocks, making twelve modules in total. Each module involves about 40 hours of contact time, requires the completion of an assessment and is worth 10 credits. The project/dissertation element is worth a further 60 credits.
