Course Description:

'' The job of testing in software industry is a highly specialized and sought after field. Competitive pressure worldwide demands that the companies deliver the right software right at the first time and therefore the right testers are required. This has created a great demand for highly skilled Software Quality & testing professionals.

The diploma in software testing (DST) offered by SEED Infotech targets this need by training the students through a structured program having the right balance of theory and practical sessions. During the program the students get to know the ins and outs of practical techniques of testing as expected by the industry. DST ensures an exhaustive coverage of the entire spectrum of Software testing.


Objective :
The Diploma is aimed at providing focused hands-on training in software testing by the practicing Testing Professionals from the IT industry.

Eligibility :
1. BE, B.Tech, BCS / BSC / BCA, MCS, MCM, MCA or equivalent with IT experience of 0-3 years.
2. Knowledge of "C" mandatory. Exposure to VB / Java / Oracle & other languages is an added advantage.

Selection Procedure
1. Based on ’Aptitude & C Prog Test & Personal Interview by prior appointment only.
2. Direct admissions for candidates with 2+ years of IT experience in software development or testing based on personal interviews.

Module 2: Test Automation and Testing Tools
This module aims at introducing the students to automated software testing tools, principles and techniques.

Testing tools (Hands on training on Four Tools)

Module 3: Projects and Case Studies
This module sharpens the software testing skills of the students by subjecting them to real-life problem solving exercises and case studies. The students will get an opportunity to apply their skills on the projects provided by SEED. This module consists of :
Interview Techniques
Software testing techniques
