'' The Help Desk Support Specialist diploma program will educate students to enter a technical position in a customer service environment. By earned the Help Desk Support Specialist diploma, the student will have up-to-date knowledge and the hands-on training necessary to enter a product support specialist, help desk, or technical support position with a business, government entity, or industry in local or national companies. Computer software, computer hardware, PC management, customer service skills, customer service operations, and office skills are emphasized. Students are provided training in solving problems encountered in the Help Desk environment, delivered through lab and lecture classes using current hardware, software and operating systems.
