'' This non-credit certificate program consists of six courses offered under the auspices of the Department of Political Science. An application must submit official transcripts showing the equivalent of 54 semester hours of transferable credit from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants must be approved for regular admission to the university, and must be approved by the Chair of the Political Science Department before registering for courses in the Paralegal curriculum.
The paralegal courses run for two semesters. Three classes are offered in the fall semseter and three in the spring semester. The classes are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until 9:45 p.m. Each class is a hour and 15 minutes long with a 15 minute break in between each class.
